NIRI SEATTLE PRESENTS A PANEL DISCUSSION ON ESG – CONVERTING RISK TO OPPORTUNITY

ESG…GRI…CSR…the list of company policies and actions grows longer, as does the list of interested parties.  The growth of ESG as a focal point for investors has created both risk and opportunity for public companies, from investor relations to executive management to the board of directors.

Come hear about how regulatory policies are trending both domestically and internationally, and how corporate policies and reporting can be converted to a competitive advantage.  How are companies deploying an ESG-responsive program that doesn't become unwieldy?  How can one leverage an ESG program beyond the traditional IR channels? How does one properly identify priorities?  How and who gathers internal resources and data, and how do you prepare a report that turns a potential liability into a corporate asset?

    PANELISTS:
Evan Harvey, Director of Corporate Responsibility, Nasdaq
Krista Kochivar, Director of Finance and Investor Relations, Weyerhaeuser
Steve Lippman, Director, Corporate Citizenship, Microsoft

Moderator: Geoffrey Buscher, Director – Investor Relations, Expeditors
