Join us for a panel of speakers from annual report design firms who will discuss annual report trends as well as how they are partnering with their clients to address new requirements and changes, such as Notice and Access and shorter filing timelines.

Our panel includes: Scott Greenberg, President and COO, Curran & Connors; Craig Terrones, Principal and Creative Director, Graphica; Michael Elliott, Principal and Interactive Design Commander, RocketDog Communications; and Allen Woodard, Strategist and Creative Director, Woodard and Company. The panel discussion will be moderated by Brad Ogura, Vice President and Marketing Director, EvergreenBank.

 

Scott Greenberg, President and COO

Curran & Connors, Inc.

Scott has been with Curran & Connors for 21 years, overseeing the growth of the Company from a single design studio in 1985 to its present 16 branch offices, including four design studios. Scott is a regular speaker at seminars at annual reports. Currently in its 42nd year in operation, Curran & Connors is the largest designer of annual reports and corporate literature in the United States , designing and producing for more than 350 public, private, and non-profit organizations.

 

Craig Terrones, Principal and Creative Director

Graphica

Craig has 20 years of experience creating annual reports and corporate communications for companies throughout the northwest. Craig has been with Graphica since its inception in 1995. Graphica is a boutique design firm noted for elegant design solutions that range from annual reports, brochures and web sites to full scale “extreme-makeover” identity and branding initiatives.

 

Michael Elliott, Principal & Interactive Design Commander,

Michael, who founded RocketDog Communications ten years ago, has more than 15 years of design experience creating solutions for local and national clients. His philosophy is that your brand is your promise and that each and every piece your brand touches should consistently convey the same message. Michael sees brands as tangible commodities with inherent value. Design has the very real power to deliver on the bottom line and should never be underestimated as an integral part of revenue generation. RocketDog Communication’s mission is to deliver a universe of creative solutions, including creative strategies, brand creation, corporate identities, media buying, Web design, marketing, and print design.

 

Allen Woodard, Owner, Strategist, and Creative Director

Woodard and Company

Allen has brought a highly disciplined business and creative focus to client projects for more than 22 years. Before founding Woodard and Company in 1998, Allen held leadership positions with The Traver Company (now Methodologie), Spangler Associates, and The Leonhardt Group (now Fitch). His work has been recognized with awards of excellence by business and industry organizations alike and has appeared in the publications of every industry benchmark organization. Allen is the current president of NIRI Seattle and a former president of the American Institute of Graphic Arts/ Seattle Chapter. Woodard and Company is a Seattle-based strategy consultant and design firm engaged with a broad range of local, regional and national clients including national power brands, leading research institutions, and early-stage biotechnology companies.

 

Brad Ogura, Vice President and Marketing Director

EvergreenBank

Brad has been an active member of NIRI since 1992 and is a past chapter president and director and currently serves as a senior advisor. In his roles directing marketing, communications, and IR in the biotech and banking industries, Brad has produced and managed numerous annual report projects. He presently serves as vice president and marketing director of Seattle-based EvergreenBank.
