In this role, Richards is responsible for the Russell suite of indexes in terms of
production, enhancement and the overall profitability of the widely utilized Russell
Index product line.
Prior to managing the indexes, Richards was a senior client account manager with
Russell/Mellon Analytical Services. In this role, she focused on
maintaining strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact
for Russell/Mellon's money manager strategic large accounts. Richards was
responsible for serving client needs related to marketing, client service, investment,
performance measurement and analytical reporting. She provided interpretive
and analytical support for Russell products, including Russell/Mellon Performance
Universes, Russell/Mellon Performance Attribution, Russell/Mellon Style Classification,
Equity Profiles and the family of Russell Indexes. She became a client account
manager in 1998.
Richards joined Russell's analytical services division as a performance analyst in
1996. In this role, she calculated, reconciled and verified returns for
domestic and international managers. Lori led the Russell Performance
Attribution training team and coordinated training classes. In 1997, she
assumed a client relationship role with a large plan sponsor client.
